The Holy Ghost Juniorate, Ihiala is a Seminary owned and managed by the Holy Ghost Congregation, Province of Nigeria, South-East. The Spiritan Minor Seminary has maintained a long tradition of high moral standard and academic excellence.

In order to be considered for admission into H.G.J as a transfer student into SS1 and limited number into JS2. you must go through the application process. To determine your current level of achievement.
pass the school examination and interview. Transfer certificate from the last school attended with last promotion result. Birth certificate/Age declaration/Baptismal certificate. 4 passport photographs. Letter of undertaking by parent/guardian. Medical certificate from the school
Under the present Holy Ghost Juniorate administration, almost all students’ hostels have been restructured and renovated, remaining two hostel bungalows which the administration intends to embark on restructuring them with modern facilities. At the moment the Seminary has well-structured and comfortable students’ hostels which include storey-buildings and bungalow-size hostel blocks.
All classroom blocks have been renovated and restructured, including the administrative building, and given a great face-lift under the present Holy Ghost Juniorate administration. The Seminary proudly has a functional two story building that houses the administrative offices, a conference room, a well-equipped functional library and well equipped and functional science laboratories of Physics and Chemistry. The Seminary has a separate building for Biology and Agric laboratories.
Among other facilities, the Holy Ghost Juniorate Seminary has in-house fully equipped clinic (the Beautiful Gate Clinic) with two qualified staff nurses; there are nearby good Hospitals for medical emergencies; we have a fully equipped and functional ICT lab, all-round fence wall of the Seminary for students’ and Seminary security, two functional sound-proof generators, two functional bore-holes, air-conditioned students’ bus, Conducive classrooms for learning, Skill Acquisition centre, in-house barbing saloon and tailoring, in-house cobbler, in-house carpentry workshop, students’ recreation / reception park, full sports facilities: football fields, Standard Lawn Tennis, Standard Basketball Court, Volley Ball Courts, etc.
